GREAT IDEA GRANTS
 |
White
Oak Elementary School's first grade teacher, Mrs.
Susan Williamson, has been awarded a Great
Idea Grant by the Mon Valley Education Consortium during their spring round
of awards. Mrs. Williamson's grant entitled, "Stuck on Reading," was funded
by the Reynold's Family in memory of Vivian G. Reynolds.
The Mon Valley Education Consortium rewards innovative and exciting
educational ideas through its Great Idea Grants Program. This program
provides funds to teachers to allow improved teaching strategies to become
realities. This program is designed as a vehicle for teachers to
translate their teaching ideas into actual learning experiences for their
students. |
