PTSAs actually provide youth members with the opportunity to make a difference by developing leadership skills, learning about the legislative process, increasing their self-esteem, and contributing to the school. In turn, adult members gain a new perspective for program development, as well as acquire a better understanding of the youth of today. |

Joining PTA gives you an opportunity
to invest in
your child's future. You're the kind of parent who would do anything for your child. And so would we. We're the PTA, and we support better education, more resources, and safer schools for every child.
When you join PTA, you join millions of others who care about issues that affect kids. Membership is open to anyone concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.
If you or someone you know would like to become a member of the High School PTSA, you can pick up a form in the Main Office of the High School or phone the Membership Chairperson at
(412) 664-3650. |

| The McKeesport Area High School Parent Teacher Student Association, more commonly called PTSA, provides services not only to the school, but to the parents of the students as well. We provide information about inter-school functions to the public, such as workshops for parents, providing services to students, and giving parents a chance to have a say in what happens in their child's school. Every year the PTSA gives senior students, who are members of the PTSA, an opportunity to win scholarships. |
