The
McKeesport Area School District is proud of its accomplishments, proud of
its strong tradition and proud of its loyal alumni. In serving the needs
of its citizens, the McKeesport Area School District has graduated young
men and women to become leaders in our community, our state and our nation since
1884. Throughout its long history, the district has sought to be
forward-looking; striving to provide "whatever it takes" to ensure a
quality education for all of its students. Today, this same commitment to
excellence prevails.
MASD serves the communities of Dravosburg, McKeesport, South
Versailles, Versailles, and White Oak. Located approximately fifteen miles
southeast of downtown Pittsburgh, it covers approximately fourteen square
miles. The total enrollment of the district exceeds 5,120 students in

Center on a comprehensive high school campus and its own Special Education
Program. The needs and interests of all its students are met within the
boundaries of the district.
The organizational grade pattern of the McKeesport Area School District
is Grades K-3, Centennial, George Washington, and White Oak; Grades
