Guidelines
During normal school hours and while on school property, all students are
required to wear an official MASD identification card. The
identification card can be worn with a clip or chain, and it must be
visible for staff and administration to see.
The identification card is the property of McKeesport Area School
District. The student identification card must be relinquished to
any staff member or bus driver upon request. If a student withdraws
from the district, the identification badge is to be returned to the
guidance office.
One (1) identification card will be issued to each person. Due to
material costs, all staff and students will be charged $5.00 for each
replacement card. This charge will be used to defray the expenses
for materials and creating a second card. This charge is to be paid
to the Principal's office.
If a card is lost, stolen or broken a temporary identification form will
be issued by the instructor. The temporary identification form is
valid until a replacement badge is issued.
Instructors shall send a request form for a new identification card to the
Portfolio Office on Mondays and Wednesdays during homeroom period.
ID cards will be reprinted at this time. Once a replacement card is
made, the $5.00 charge is levied on the student. This charge is
levied regardless of whether or not the original identification card is
found. Any monies not paid for replacement identification
cards will be put on the student debt list.
No student is permitted to leave class without a visible identification
card or temporary ID form. Failure to wear a permanent or temporary
identification card may result in student discipline. |
