The total enrollment of George Washington School is
492. The students are serviced by 66 professional and support staff
members. The school provides a wide range of services including a
full-time guidance counselor, librarian, nurse, time-out monitor, speech
therapist, language specialist, special education program, Title I Math
and Reading specialists, and a daily breakfast and lunch program. (see

Our mission at George Washington School is to provide quality educational
experiences for our students and to help each of our students strive for
educational and personal success. Collaborative efforts involving
staff, students, parents, and community are means to fulfill this
mission. We are a "Success for All" School. (see
curriculum)
The staff regards school pride as an essential element of student success
at George Washington School. School Pride encompasses such things as
respect for yourself, others, plus school buildings and grounds. We
hope to continue to help youngsters develop an appreciation of others,
themselves, and the school.
